Resolution No. 92 of 2022


The National Entrepreneurship Council was founded under Resolution No. 92 of 2022 issued by the President of the House of Representatives.

The Council is dedicated to bridging the gap between the public and private sectors, offering consultancy to build a thriving economic environment that empowers Libya’s local and global standing.

The vision

Achieve regional and international recognition as a leading entrepreneurship council.

The Mission

The National Entrepreneurship Council aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of local, regional, and global backgrounds. It plans to achieve this by encouraging dialogue and collaborative efforts among key stakeholders in the design, implementation, and evaluation of entrepreneurship and development initiatives in line with the nation’s strategic objectives.

The Objective

Awareness

Raise awareness of entrepreneurship and the freelance culture, and encourage innovation and development.

Entrepreneurial Mindset

Develop an entrepreneurial mindset within the community to empower individuals to enhance their competitive abilities and establish entrepreneurial ventures.

Support

Support research centers and endowed chairs in academic faculties.

Networking

Establish strong relationships with innovation hubs and funding bodies to assist entrepreneurs in launching and promoting their businesses successfully.

Marketing

Promote innovative university outcomes on a local and international scale.

Consultations

Provide advisory services in innovation and entrepreneurship to build community partnerships between the council and the community.

Curricula

Incorporate research-based knowledge into academic programs and link them with community challenges.

Research

Develop a holistic research strategy with a primary focus on key research fields.

Creativity

Encouraging a culture of creativity, excellence, innovation, and patents by building distinctive and influential relationships with researchers, partners and society.
